On April 25, 2021, Aspen’s life changed as she was crowned Miss North Dakota Teen USA 2021. The 18-year-old daughter of Jay and Karen Hennessy of Des Lacs, North Dakota, was nothing short of blessed to bring the title back home with her.

Having graduated from Des Lacs-Burlington High School this Spring, she will begin her major in Exercise Science at North Dakota State University in the Fall of 2021. This will be the first step toward her lifelong dream of becoming a chiropractor.

Competing in front of thousands, Aspen has displayed her rodeo talents at some of Rodeo’s biggest stages for high school and junior high rodeo athletes. She has competed in four national rodeo events and is working towards the goal of becoming a National Champion.

No stranger to wearing a crown, Aspen Hennessy represented North Dakota as Miss North Dakota High School Rodeo 2019. While being an active rodeo contestant, Aspen has shared her love of the western and agriculture industries by helping in over 15 adaptive rodeos around the country. Growing up in a competitive sports family, you will find Aspen volunteering at Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports where she helps with sporting events for youth and adults with mental and physical disabilities.

Aspen is also a big fan of being outside and participating in all types of water and winter sports. She is a tubing fanatic and is always up for a “Who can stay on longest?” competition.

Stay tuned with Aspen as she prepares to compete at Miss Teen USA Pageant on November 27th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
